Astro Jet Self Services Car Wash

Tried 2 of the 4 bays. Both of the card readers barely worked. Asked for help & the attendant just tried over & over til it went through. Then neither of the soap brushes worked. The owner is the only one who can fix the brushes and he doesn’t allow an out of order sign to be put up when they’re down. I was told that the gas station doesn’t own the car wash, so you can’t have them refund your money. You have to call a number. Don’t waste your time here!

First time coming to this place, and it was a complete disaster. I went early in the morning, and out of four bays, only two were open. I used one of the working ones, but the spray barely worked and had almost no pressure. A few minutes later, the pressure gun snapped off from the top and fell onto my car. Thankfully, there was no damage, but I was extremely frustrated. I moved to the other bay, which worked better, but honestly, only one out of four bays is actually usable. Even that one has broken soap and pre-soak, so cleaning properly is almost impossible. Terrible setup, poorly maintained equipment, and a very frustrating experience overall. Don’t waste your time coming here.

Apple Pay option at car wash. Open 24-7 unlike many other carwashes in Portland. Close proximity to airport makes it easy to wash rental vehicles before returning. Neighborhood appears a little sketchy at night, but there were no issues during my visit at 9:30 pm.
